By accessing or using the Annalis AI platform (“Service”), operated by Annalis AI (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Annalis AI provides AI-powered medical record analysis and expert witness matching services for legal professionals. The Service includes case merit analysis, standard-of-care evaluation, causation mapping, deposition question generation, and physician expert network access.
The Service is intended for use by licensed attorneys, law firms, and credentialed physicians. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The AI analysis provided by the Service is intended as a preliminary screening tool and does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, or an expert medical opinion. All AI-generated analyses should be independently verified by qualified professionals before being relied upon for legal or medical decision-making. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
The Company facilitates connections between attorneys and physician expert witnesses but does not employ, supervise, or control the expert witnesses in our network. Expert witnesses are independent professionals responsible for their own opinions, reports, and testimony. The Company does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any expert engagement.
Fees for the Service are as described at the time of purchase. Your first case analysis may be provided free of charge. Subsequent usage is subject to applicable fees. Expert witness fees are set by the individual experts and collected through the platform. Retainer payments are non-refundable once expert work has commenced.
The Service, including its software, design, content, and documentation, is the property of Annalis AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it as necessary to provide the Service.
We understand that the materials uploaded to our platform may contain privileged and confidential information. We maintain strict confidentiality obligations and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Case materials are not shared with any third party without your explicit authorization.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
